Unfortunately, it’s that time of year again, the Outdoor Season has come to an end. Our green will be having its Winter maintenance until Spring. That will involve using fertiliser and treatments for crane fly, moss, and whatever our green keeper thinks we need. However Ping / Table Tennis has just restarted, and will carry on throughout the Winter. If you are interested in playing, please get in touch and I’ll put you in contact with Jon, who runs the club. (Opening times for this vary depending on availability) We also aim to open for to members for occasional film screenings, quizzes and games (remember short mat bowls?) 2020 AGM

The 2020 AGM will be held on Sunday 17th May at 2.00pm via Zoom. For some good news read to the bottom To remind you - at our last AGM we agreed to change our reporting year to be from April to the end of March the following year. Even though we can't play at the moment we still need your support, even if it's just to get a drink at the bar (when covid 19 allows) and vote in your next committee. Friendly Bowls Tournaments 2019 – ALL WELCOME

We would like to invite people of all abilities and experience to join us in a friendly bowls tournament on Sunday May 12th at 3pm. The exact format of the tournament has yet to be decided and will be dependent on how many people turn up on the day.  As always, the emphasis will be on enjoyment although there will be a prize of some sort for the winner. 2019 Opening

We will be starting the new bowls outdoor season on 6th April, opening at 2.00pmOur membership fees stay low - only £20 until the season ends in October.  Then £3 for green fees and availing yourself of our bar.Or just turn up and play for £5.  Children under 16 are FREE.We have the equipment and coaching also available for FREE.We are available for hire.Our regular opening times from then onwards are:Saturdays  2-5pmSundays  3-6pmMondays  3-6pmWednesdays  6-duskThursdays 6-duskAs before we are planning another Rock and Bowls event and other special days, including days to especially encourage people with disabilities to discover this very enjoyable game.
